On July 23, Lanoue, of West Springfield, went to the hospital for a scheduled C-section, her fiance Adam Tirrell said. She gave birth to her second child, a daughter she named Charlotte Rose. Then on the morning of July 26, Lanoue became unresponsive in the hospital. A CT scan revealed a massive brain bleed.
“They told us Ally’s brain was so severe that even the most extreme measures would not make her come back to us,” Tirrell said. “She passed away that evening with her family by her side.”
Lanoue is survived by her newborn, Charlotte, nine-year-old son and fiance
Tirrell started a GoFundMe to help defray final expenses for Lanoue. Anything leftover will go to support her children.
As of July 30, 182 people had donated $13,280. The campaign’s goal is $20,000.
